Falling behind

It seems that the older I become, the less frequently I meet up with my friends.

It might be part of studying overseas, but I find that I've been meeting up with some people as little as just once a year. I mean I guess it's only understandable, we've all moved on and have different lives now, and it's actually great that we actually make the effort to stay in touch.

But looking at the way things progress, I wonder if there will come a time when I simply don't meet up with any of my old friends anymore.

Well, it really depends on whether they're your friends at that point in time.

i wonder the same thing, particularly every time i return to singapore and all the meetups start again. sometimes i think the divergence between me and some people whom i used to be (and still am) very fond of is so great that there is no turning back for us. i suppose, ultimately, it's no loss to lose touch with these people - but there's still a pang, isn't there?
